well in this hectic week at the Big K called Midterms I'm taking a small break to post what happened this weekend and why my ankles are in constant pain. this past week was a nice quiet one, on Friday night we Celebrated J-Dubbs birthday and we went to Urs, the local bar, and around midnight we made my way back. Then the next day i enjoyed sleeping in and didn't get out of bed until around noon, then i got some work done but mainly just had a lazy Saturday afternoon, that night about ten of the guys and I stayed up watching Band of Brothers in one of their rooms with a projector, and how they came in contact with said projector they did not say. the next morning was Sunday and after Mass me and my roommate decided to climb the mountain directly across the Kartausa we never found the original entrance of the switchbacks so we just headed straight up the mountain incline and all. then we came across the switchback and headed up the trail. After a while the trail got harder and harder to walk, because the snow kept giving way under our weight and we would step them fall a few feet until were stepping in snow up to our knees. so then once we made it up over 3/4 of the way up the mountain we decided that the path was too much while their was snow still on it and decided to climb the mountain later in the semester, but on the way down we decided to bushwhack our way and not take the switchback so we started our descent and Robbie, my roommate got ahead of me a bit and then at one point in time i noticed that my left foot felt different than my right one, and then i looked down and saw that my left foot didn't have a shoe on it! i looked behind me and i found it in a hole that i made while walking about five steps behind me so then i put it back on and took a step to see that my right shoe came off and was where i left it, after gawking at my luck i put it back on and tied it tighter. then we made our way down the mountain and all the way the show was at my thigh and had formulated all around my ankles. once we were back in town Robbie took out his pipes and we smoked on our walk back, we then hurriedly got out of our clothes and appreciated a nice hot meal and a relaxing evening and Monday morning i didn't have class and since then finals have kinda consumed everything
next time
